The Dixon Weather Service is seeking people to join our team!
Storm spotters preform a vital service to the area in which they serve. During times of hazardous weather conditions local storm spotters are out watching for the development or occurrence of severe or dangerous weather conditions. Everything from heavy snow and ice during the cold season to flooding, large hail and tornadoes during the warm season. Storm spotters are there!

The Dixon Weather Service is a proud member of the NWS SKYWARN program. All of our storm spotters are trained and certified for SKYWARN and severe weather operations by the National Weather Service & UCAR, University Corporation For Atmospheric Research.
