All Clear -

Means the coverage area is safe from dangerous cloud to ground lightning strikes at this time. There is no threat for lightning within the systems detection range at the present time.

Caution -

Means be aware there is lightning in the coverage area that could be dangerous. Use caution if outdoors and monitor for increasing risk for dangerous lightning strike potential.

Warning & Red Alert -

Means use extreme caution as dangerous lightning is in the coverage area! Lightning is in the detection range of the system and occurring right now.

When a warning status is indicated please monitor the DI value for increasing trends. A warning status means you could be struck by lightning! So be warned that hazardous lightning conditions are in the area. Monitor for an increase in the risk level to Red Alert status.

When a RED ALERT status is indicated it means that safety is compromised!! Dangerous lightning is occurring! When RED ALERT is indicated do NOT be outdoors, Do NOT use electronic appliances such as telephones unless absolutely necessary! There is a very high risk that you could be struck by lightning when RED ALERT is indicated!!
